Our sustainable containers are made from a plant-based material derived from sugarcane, a renewable resource. This material is a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) bioplastic, produced through a process that involves harvesting sugarcane, extracting ethanol from the plant, and converting that ethanol into plant-based HDPE.
The production of our sugarcane-based plastic is approximately 97% carbon neutral. This is due to the sugarcane plant's natural ability to absorb CO₂ from the atmosphere during its growth cycle. Additionally, these containers are 100% recyclable and classified as #2 recyclable HDPE, meaning they can be seamlessly integrated into existing recycling streams alongside conventional HDPE materials.
Our plant-based jars are designed with sustainability in mind, using plastic derived from sugarcane to help reduce carbon emissions. This material is approximately 97% carbon neutral, significantly lowering its environmental impact. Given that carbon dioxide (CO₂) is a leading contributor to climate change, many companies are now prioritizing carbon-neutral initiatives. This line of plant-based jars is available with two cap options:
Side-Seal Cap – Commonly used to prevent gasoline vapors from escaping while also protecting the contents from water, dust, and debris.
Tamper-Evident Foil Seal Cap – Provides an airtight and waterproof seal beneath a twist-and-turn cap, ensuring product integrity. These seals are typically applied using an induction sealing machine.
